March 2022 – Refuse to Live Alone
Download the Conversation Cards – Find Your People, Month 1
This month’s conversation kicks off the first in our six-part Find Your People series, and we hope that, over the next six months, you are able to dive deeper into community with your people.
Today, we’re talking about foundations to friendship. We weren’t created to live alone, so why do we often feel so lonely?
Whether you find yourself too busy to make time for friendships, or you’re afraid to let people know your deepest self, we are often standing in our own way of living in community the way God intended us to live.
Hebrews is clear in our calling of community:
- We are to not neglect meeting together. Where are you neglecting seeing your community or friends because you’re busy, tired, or frustrated with them? How can you prioritize making space in your life for community?
- We are to encourage one another. How can we expect to be able to encourage one another unless we actually are living alongside one another? How can you choose to move toward others in love?
Living in deep community with other people will be hard, messy and scary – we can promise you that. But we can also promise that your life will be filled with so much joy that you won’t be able to imagine living any other way.
If you’re wondering how to take the next first step in finding your people, we have a few questions this month to get you started. Download the Month 1 Cards in our new conversation series to begin breaking down the barriers that are holding you back from living in deep community.
